Being a teenage girl surrounded by other teenage girls almost all the time I realize that most criticism I and other girls get is from our female peers. Woman always have been and always will be some of the most powerful people on the planet, from having the ability to grow a life inside of our body to being the second human in space and literal queens. Yet sometimes I wonder why girls use their words to make other young woman feel a way they would never like to feel them selves. I realize most girls that feel the need to put down others have their own forms of insecurities installed in them either by unrealistic expectations society sets our standards or other woman like them who taught them they were not beautiful. Life is not a competition, every one is doing their best. Us as woman have the power to do so much for one another. Instead of turning everything into a competition we should encourage each other. I have always had strong female roles in my life that have taught me there is nothing a man can do that they can not. Some of the best things that have happened to me have been the support of my female friends always reminding me how beautiful I am, how anything I want I can get with hard work and encouragement to do just about anything I put my mind to. This is the way it should always be. There should never be any reason to say negative words to another girl to make them feel badly about them selves. Words are powerful. Every one has beauty, you never know how you could impact some ones day or even their self esteem. Never loose an opportunity to compliment or congratulate a woman you see doing good as us females can sometimes let our pride get the best of us. Us females have an unexplainable amount of power, the important thing is we always remember to use it for positive.
