Over the last year I have realized so much of the way I feel has more to do with me than with the people and things around me. A year ago I would get the smallest things get to me and ruin my whole day. Now things are so much different. I realized that only the things that can bother me are the things I give power to. Getting upset about something and letting it ruin my day will not change the situation and it will only affect me. I had no desire to find the positive in my day to day life and soon I became angry all the time. I even got to the point where I felt like I was looking for things to be mad about. I got tired of always being angry and decided it was time for a change. I told myself if I started every morning by simply just telling myself I will have a good day it is bound to happen. If I go through my day looking at the positives instead of looking for something to be upset about I will be so much happier. As cliché as it sounds all you can really do is make the best out of everything! Being happy is such an achievable goal if you really set your mind to it. Only you can determine your attitude and only you can make yourself have a positive outlook on life!
